Listening to the Voices of Experienced Workers in Hamilton: Workforce Barriers and Solutions took place on Wednesday, October 23, 2013.

During this event for front-line employment service providers the results of Workforce Planning Hamilton's recent research project on the challenges facing local unemployed experienced workers was released.
A local labour market profile of experienced workers was presented including:the number of EW in Hamilton; age distribution; labour force activity; educational levels; industries employed in, and occupations.
A summary of the research was presented and hard copies of the report were given to all who attended.
The morning also featured a workshop by JP Hatala, founder of the Social Capital Development firm Flowork International, Professor at George Brown College in the Career and Work Counselor Program.  Dr. Hatala's presentation, Strategic Job Search Managment was well received by all who attended.
