HAMILTON (Tuesday, December 20, 2011) – WINhamilton.ca is now open to everyone in the Hamilton community who is looking for information on local employment, training and upgrading programs.
Youth employed in our region most commonly work in sales and service occupations, representing 53% of all youth employment. Occupations in business, finance and administration and trades, transport and equipment operations offer good opportunities for youth in Hamilton.
More than 6,000 people looking for help to cope with job loss have turned to www.lostmyjob.ca in its first year. Lostmyjob was launched a year ago by Workforce Planning Hamilton and the Workforce Planning Board of Grand Erie.
